Let me tell you the story of this book. The title actually came to me in January 2013, while my pastor was preaching/teaching. I literally heard him say, “Meet with God.” Those words pierced my spirit-man. I couldn’t wait to find out where he got that from, however, when I asked Him, he didn’t remember saying those words at all. So, I got the CD of that service and listened and listened, but my pastor had not said those words! This led me on a study to see where, or if these very words where even in the Bible. To my surprise, though I had read the Bible through many times, these exact words where right there in black and white. We find them in Exodus 19:17…
And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.
When we read this story, God had asked Moses to have the people of Israel to prepare themselves to meet with Him. There were stipulations, which the Israelites at first, agreed to, however, in the end they couldn’t follow His commands. To Meet with God, we must obey His commands as to how to enter into His Presence. Entering into His Presence is what I received from hearing those words, Meet with God. I pursued Him and His very Presence till I was consumed with meeting with my God. Then in 2016, I was led to have a prayer meeting where we had no agenda, no personal request, no time limit, and we were only there to Meet with God. These meetings were so powerful, as we were there to only minister to Him. In doing so, He would usually speak to us as a congregation and to this little prayer group’s hunger for His Presence. He entered into our sanctuary with His very Glory that was seen once in the natural, and many times in pictures. When He would show up in His Glory, He would lead one of the prayers to take a picture, and there He was manifested in those pictures! He not only showed us His Glory, but He healed bodies, and answered the secret petitions of our hearts. We were not seeking these things, only His face, therefore He blessed us for setting aside an unlimited amount of time just to minister to Him. We did not leave until we sensed He was fully ministered to.
On with how this book came into being. In 2024, a friend and I were discussing God’s Presence, and how people just do not know how to enter into His Presence. She stated that we need to have a Meet with God meeting, as she said those words, Holy Spirit quickened me, and I just knew at that moment that He had another book to teach on how to enter His Presence, and the title was Meet with God. Thus, that’s how this book began. He then started giving me chapters and verses. And here we are with book number five, written by the Holy Trinity.
